Five ways to make RDP feel faster

Pick USA or EU next to you. In the RDP client, drop color depth if you are on a weak link, enable bitmap caching, and avoid full-screen video as a lifestyle.
On the guest, turn off unused visual effects, keep Windows patched, and do not let a browser with 80 tabs sit on Herald. A wired Ethernet on your side beats Wi-Fi plus a nested VPN.
If the session is still mushy after that, the plan is too small or the path is too long — not a missing "turbo" checkbox.
